Emergency Support
As part of our crisis-recovery activities in Sudan, GOAL is supporting an improvement to the health status and well-being of conflict-affected populations in Sudan by increasing the effectiveness of curative and preventative primary healthcare.
We are also intervening with nutrition support, water and sanitation, and relief items.
We are establishing new primary healthcare clinics and basic health units, and enhancing the quality of the everyday operation of many existing clinics. We are equipping them with water and sanitation facilities, providing hygiene, healthcare and management training to staff, and stocking the clinics with essential medicines and equipment.
GOAL is also supporting midwife delivery-care to pregnant women, initiating monthly soap distributions, and giving public training in best hygiene practices.
