GOAL Birthday Stickers
Is your child attending birthday parties virtually every week, enjoying a more hectic social life than most adults?
Instead of buying a celebratory card for little friends that will go straight into the bin after a day or two, why not purchase a birthday sticker from GOAL and help enhance the life of a child in the developing world?
Giving a birthday sticker along with a present lets a child know that a donation was made to GOAL on their behalf.
The stickers are €2 and currently available through GOAL on 01 2809779, or you can order one or more by emailing the fundraising department at fundraising@goal.ie
Where did the Birthday Stickers idea come from? This novel idea of Birthday Stickers came from Wicklow mother of two, Tara Cassidy, who spends a lot of her time ferrying her children to and from birthday parties.
“My children go to so many parties every year that it seemed such a waste to spend money on expensive birthday cards when GOAL can put the money to good use helping the poorest of the poor,” said Tara.
Former Irish rugby international Reggie Corrigan lent his support to the campaign, saying: “I'm delighted to support this initiative. It’s a great idea and will raise much-needed funds for GOAL. It will also raise awareness amongst children that not everyone has as much as them.”
