GOAL Mile


The GOAL Mile is one of GOAL's longest-running and most popular fundraisers. This year, GOAL UK held its very own special take on the event with the Easter GOAL UK Chocolate skate mile. The competition was fierce as participants battled it out over a mile to find chocolate eggs!

The GOAL Mile is a long-established event in Ireland, with 107 GOAL Miles organised in villages, towns and cities all over the country last Christmas. Thousands of people come out every Christmas morning to run or walk a Mile in aid of GOAL.

The event is still in its infancy in the UK but it’s easy to organise and great fun to participate in. And as we proved in 2011, the GOAL Mile is not just for Christmas!
