Public donations are vital to the work that GOAL does on behalf of some of the poorest and most vulnerable peoples in the developing world. Without the outstanding generosity of the public, both at home and abroad, we would be far less effective in our battle against poverty and deprivation.
As well as mounting special public appeals at times of a particular humanitarian crisis, such as the Haiti earthquake, the South East Asian tsunami, the Niger famine, and the Pakistan floods, GOAL organises many fundraising events throughout each calendar year.
Just some of the events held annually to raise funds for GOAL are the Calcutta Run, the GOAL Mile, GOAL Jersey Day, the Ballintubber Walk and a GOAL Ball in multiple locations across the world. Check our menu for details on these and lots more.
With a seemingly boundless capacity for new ideas, members of the public often organise events of their own to raise funds for GOAL.
If you would like to organise a fundraiser for GOAL, check the link on our side menu for lots of handy hints and tips.
Bogus Collectors
GOAL has a strict policy of not endorsing or engaging in door-to-door collections. If someone calls at your home or business asking for a donation to GOAL, they are not a legitimate representative, so please do not give them anything.
