Hundreds of brave, tenacious individuals have given their time and energy over the years to serve as GOALies on our numerous projects worldwide.  Here are just some of them:



Maura Lennon - West of Ireland fundraiser 
Maura Lennon is a highly-experienced staff member, who is celebrating 27 years with the organisation in 2012.  During those years her selfless dedication to humanitarianism has had Maura working in Ethiopia, Sudan, Cambodia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Angola, and Honduras.

Brian Casey - Emergency Co-ordinator
Dublin-born Brian Casey is GOAL’s Emergency Co-ordinator, which entails him being amongst the first on the scene of a disaster to direct and plan GOAL’s response.

Brian has been witness to some of the most heartrending scenes imaginable, and some that can barely be imagined.

Dr. Mary McLoughlin  - GOALie since 1987
A University College Cork graduate, Dr Mary McLoughlin joined GOAL in 1987 and has since worked in some of the most war-ravaged regions of the world, including Iraq, Bosnia, Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia.
