GOAL Recruitment Evening - Accountants
Are you a qualified or soon to be qualified accountant? Are you up for a challenge in the developing world? If so, then we would like to meet you.
GOAL currently employs more than 100 GOALies across 13 countries in the developing world. We regularly have openings for accountants to work as Financial Controllers, Internal Auditors and Donor Compliance Officers.
From 6-7.30pm on Wednesday, February 8th, we are holding a finance recruitment information evening in The Irish Aid Volunteering and Information Centre, O'Connell Street, Dublin, where you can find out more about our opportunities, and talk to those with experience of working overseas.

What kind of jobs does GOAL usually recruit for?
Typical vacancies include, but are not limited to:
• Support Staff (accountants, logisticians etc.)
• Senior Managers (programme managers, emergency co-ordinators, country directors etc.)
• Technical Staff (nutritionists, engineers, doctors,
nurses, midwives, and livelihoods specialists)

• A minimum of two years post qualification work experience.
• Prior experience with a humanitarian organisation is preferred, but not essential for all posts.
• You need to be a team player with a 'can do attitude'
• You must be willing to cope with demanding conditions, and be resourceful and adaptable.
What does GOAL offer?
• One year contracts, with the possibility for extension in many cases.
• Annual return air fares, suitable accommodation (normally shared), in-country food/living allowance and travel insurance.
• A resettlement grant for first-time volunteers

• A salary commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post, and level of experience, for experienced personnel
