Galway and Roscommon GAA fans bookmarking

their support for GOAL

GAA fans and people from Roscommon and Galway can enjoy their reading time with a bookmark in their county colours, while supporting GOAL at the same time. The initiative, headed again by GOAL supporter John Boyle, is already proving to be a great success. Each bookmark is dressed in the county colours and includes the county crest and selected GOAL and relevant GAA images.

The bookmarks are selling for €2 each and anyone interested in purchasing one or more - and supporting GOAL's work in the developing world - can order them from John Boyle by contacting him on 087 6388116.

FUNDRAISING FOR HAITI

held in aid of our Haiti appeal.

Dublin's Hard Rock Cafe hosted four live charity music gigs on Thursday nights throughout March, with all money going towards GOAL's response in Haiti. Staff members are pictured above presenting a cheque for €1,900 to GOAL's Lisa O'Shea

Warning: Bogus Collectors

If a person or group calls to your home or business asking for a donation to GOAL, please do not give them anything. As a policy, GOAL does not raise funds on a door-to-door basis.

Please be assured that anyone collecting money in this way is not a legitimate representative of GOAL.

Run the Galway City Marathon for GOAL

The Galway City Marathon takes place around the streets of Galway on Sunday, August 29th, and you can run the 26 miles (and a bit!) for GOAL and help support our work in the developing world.

Organised by Galway brothers Paul and Richard Donovan, the event is part of a run and fun festival weekend in the west and is sure to attract huge interest amongst both serious and fun runners.

For more information, click here, or visit www.galwaycitymarathon.com
