

Six-Year-old reaches his Goal & raises €762.20 for Haiti Appeal
6-year-old Liam Kervick from Maypark Lane, Waterford decided to do a sponsored walk for Haiti after seeing the earthquake disaster on the News. He did a 5KM walk in the People's Park on Sunday 7th. Liam would like to thank everyone who donated money and supported him or walked with him on the day. He raised an amazing €762.20.

ORIGINAL ART AND SUPPORT GOAL IN HAITI
Art lovers have the opportunity to purchase some original art
and donate money to GOAL's Haiti appeal at the same time thanks
to an unique exhibition in Clonmel on Friday, February 19th.
Kilkenny-based artist Niamh
Curry has persuaded 30 of her colleagues, including the internationally
renowned Gottfried Helnwein and Bob Dixon, to donate works for
an exhibition in The Narrow Space Gallery in the Co. Tipperary
town.
The exhibition opens at 8pm and thanks to the artists and the
support of sponsors Super Valu, Artisan Frames, Swift Print, Niamh’s,
The Wine Buff Clonmel, Dowlings Print Shop, Mr. Bumbles, Superquinn
and The Narrow Space Gallery, all proceeds from the sales will
go directly to GOAL.
Opening Night will include wine,
light refreshments and finger food and a raffle for a 60”
long signed and framed photographed image of Glen Hansard by Bob
Dixon. Tickets for this piece are available to buy in the Narrow
Space Gallery but if you cannot attend the exhibition and would
still like to be with a chance of winning this beautiful prize,
