IRISH charity GOAL has come to the rescue of thousands of Zimbabweans affected by cholera.

The water supply failure has meant families have been forced to use filthy water resulting in the spread of the disease.

GOAL is providing clean water to more than 30,000 families.

It has urged Irish people to give generously to this cause.
